System Administrator

We are looking for a System Administrator to join our IT Team.

As a System Administrator you will maintain, upgrade and manage our software, hardware and networks. Resourcefulness is a necessary skill in this role. You should be able to diagnose and resolve problems quickly. You should also have the patience to communicate with a variety of interdisciplinary teams and users, including your own team.

Your goal will be to ensure that our technology infrastructure runs smoothly and efficiently.

What you’ll do:

• Maintenance, configuration, and reliable operation of computer systems, network servers and virtualization
• Install and upgrade computer components and software, manage virtual servers, and integrate automation processes
• Troubleshoot hardware and software errors by running diagnostics, documenting problems and resolutions, prioritizing problems, and assessing impact of issues
• Provide documentation and technical specifications to IT staff for planning and implementing new or upgrades of IT infrastructure
• Perform or delegate regular backup operations and implement appropriate processes for data protection, disaster recovery, and failover procedures
• Ensure security through access controls, backups and firewalls
• Project delivery end-to-end.

Requirements

Who you are:

• 1-2 years of proven experience as a System Administrator, + + Network Administrator or similar role - a must
• High level of english, verbal and written - a must
• Ability to work as a part of a team
• Experience with networks and patch management (Fortinet, HP hardware)
• Knowledge of MDM softwares (Intune)
• Knowledge of backup technology and systems (Veeam)
• Familiarity with various operating systems and platforms (Windows, MacOS, linux)
• Knowledge of Cloud environments (Azure, GCP) and virtualization (HyperV)
• Resourcefulness and problem-solving aptitude
• Excellent communication skills
• professional certification (e.g. MCSA, CCNA) is a plus
