Work closely with the Security Intelligence Team, Development, Support, and Sales Engineers to improve product security and health offers. Analyzing big data over Akamai cloud intelligence for ongoing operations and supporting Akamai customers.
Shape internet security
You will be part of a team of experts. responsible for the security escalations, health, and security posture in Akamai. You will be focusing on a cutting-edge suite of network and security services to ensure application health and security posture hunting threats while assuring reliability for users connecting to any SaaS, Cloud, and IoT applications in the enterprise.
As a Senior Security Analyst Lead, you will be responsible for:
Strategic planning and policy development
Monitoring, Analyzing and resolving security issues over big data
Developing monitoring and analysis tools (Python, SQL, PHP, Tcl, Bash).
Collaborating with diverse security teams to improve the security posture.
Providing PoCs with advanced analysis support for Pre-Sales assistance.
Do what you love
To be successful in this role you will:
Have experience in a Security Operations Center or data analysis position.
Have solid experience in working with Linux environments and scripting languages eg. Python, Shell, Awk, SQL, KQL systems Splunk, git, and understanding of DNS and web protocols, TCP/IP
Have knowledge and understanding of Big Data analysis and usage and security concepts and threats.
Have problem-solving skills and analytical thinking with high creativity
Have the “Go the extra mile” attitude, adaptable, and willing to learn new techniques and technologies.
Have Security Certification such as CISSP, CISM, SANS, CEH, GIAC, or equivalent
