As a backend Team Leader at Vesttoo, you'll be responsible for:

• Lead and mentor a team of talented backend engineers while defining the team’s development standards and metrics
• Work closely with our product team and translate product and business requirements into tools and solutions while focusing on developer experience
• Lead the platform design and architecture

Lead the implementation of core features such as modules, data pipelines, services

Requirements:

• Experience with Microservices implementation, including APIs
• 5+ years of backend programming experience in a microservices architecture on cloud environment
• 2+ years of programming experience in Node.js or equivalent
• 2+ years as an R&D management position Experience writing high-quality, testable, and reusable code under a source control environment
• Understanding of DevOps processes Experience working with Databases
• B.Sc. degree in Computer Science/related field or equivalent experience
• Experience in cloud environments (preferable AWS) Ability to design, research, and implement large and complex architectures
• Deep understanding of best practices in scalable server-side architecture
• Self-starter and can learn new technology and tools quickly
