Job Description: Technical support engineer L1:

As a member of our Zerto Technical Support team, you will provide first-level technical support to Enterprise customers, Cloud Service Providers, and business partners.

What you’ll be doing:

  • You will be part of the L1 team that provides support in the EMEA region but will also provide support to customers from all over the world.
  • You will be responsible for investigating, troubleshooting, and resolving customers’ technical issues.
  • You will investigate and troubleshoot technical issues through remote sessions on customers’ sites.
  • You will be familiar with Zerto's technology, workflows, and best practices.
  • You will be creating knowledge base articles, both for the internal Zerto audience and external to our customers.
  • You will work closely with our customers on a daily basis.
  • You will work closely with our L2 team on a daily basis.

  • Basic knowledge and understanding of TCP/IP and other networking concepts.
  • Basic experience with Windows Server administration.

  • Must have a passion for troubleshooting client problems and satisfying customer needs.
  • Must be self-motivated, with a sense of urgency and efficiency and a strong work ethic.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Working days are Monday -Friday.

  • Experience with VMware virtualization solutions.
  • Experience with Microsoft Hyper-V virtualization solution.
  • Experience with public cloud virtualization solutions such as Azure and AWS.
  • Experience with Linux.
  • Experience with RESTful API.
