Job Description:
Full-time assignment in the development of low-power state-of-the-art wireless applications and alternative energy solutions. The system lead engineer will lead the development activities of a new generation of products from inception, definition, and design, all the way to mass production. The position is in a fast-growing start-up thus it would require an "entrepreneur's attitude" with the ability for independent work, initiative, and willingness to be a "key contributor" to the startup.
Requirements:

  • B.Sc. or M.Sc. (preferred) in Computer engineering or Electrical engineering.

  • Few years’ experience in the management of integration processes and system engineering teams.

  • Hands-on experience (at least 5 years) in system development for low power wireless communication (i.e. LoRa, BLE).

  • Vast knowledge and hands-on experience in the design and testing of complex HW circuits.

  • Hands-on experience in embedded controllers’ programming.

  • Fluent in communicating in English (written and oral) at a very high level.

  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.

  • Entrepreneurial/startup attitude – independent work capability, initiative, “driving force”, “Can do” attitude, work well under pressure.

  • Confidence, patience, politeness, and professional attitude when dealing with difficult situations.

  • Very organized and methodical approach to work and documentation.
    Additional preferable requirements

  • Programming and debugging ARM-based ST Microelectronics controllers.

  • Hands-on experience in embedded SW architecture, SW tools such as IAR, SW testing, debugging, and validation.

  • Experience in interface with worldwide customers.

  • Previous additional experience as a Practical Engineer “הנדסאי” or technician is preferred.
