About the Role

Join our rapidly growing Credit Risk Research & Analytics Group. In this role you will be conducting research, analysis and monitoring of multiple financial products, covering performance, risk, trends, underlying drivers, and market benchmarks. The group consists of data scientists and senior analysts, conducting in-depth research and analysis while also leading and directing cross company analysis processes. The group has a wide perspective of the company’s products and activities and is in close collaboration with various departments, working in a high pace and extremely professional environment.

Responsibilities

Analyze and investigate large complex datasets in order to answer various business questions supporting monitoring and risk management of Pagaya’s financial portfolio, using Python, SQL and BI tools
Design, develop and implement advanced analysis methodologies and processes
Prepare various analytical reports and studies, including anomaly monitoring, root cause analysis, risk assessment, and ad-hoc investigations
Provide and communicate actionable insights and recommendations to drive portfolio management decisions and business initiatives
Work jointly with data scientists to support deep research activities and new machine-learning capabilities
Requirements

6+ years of data analysis experience, including hands-on designing and implementing of new analytics methodologies and processes
Python and SQL proficiency
B.Sc or higher in a scientific or quantitative discipline such as Math, Statistics, CS, Engineering, Economics or similar
Team player with excellent English and Hebrew communication skills
Advantage points:

Quantifiable risk analysis experience
Advanced Statistical or Machine Learning knowledge
